Rev. Irving Simon

Reverend Simon grew up in Georgetown, Guyana as a member of St. George's Anglican (Episcopal) Cathedral where he was baptized, confirmed, and served in the Cathedral Choir. He moved to England and served the church as an Acolyte and Crucifer. After graduating as a Telecommunications Engineer, Reverend Simon served as an Engineer Officer in the Royal Navy.

Until he graduated from Johnson C. Smith Seminary in Atlanta, Reverend Simon, his wife, Dorothy, and family worshipped in the Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, Missouri. With a Master of Divinity in hand, he served Presbyterian Churches in St. Louis, Missouri; Martinsville, Virginia; and Halstead Kansas. He then served United Methodist Churches in Haviland, Garfield, St. John, and Antrim, Kansas. His ministry in Kansas was cross-cultural.

Evangelism is Reverend Irving's passion in ministry. "Making disciples for Jesus Christ fulfills the mandate (Matthew 28:19, 20) to enhance existing ministries for friendship, discipleship, evangelism, and healthy church growth," he affirms.
